Advisement
As freshmen, Zoology majors work with advisors in the College of Agriculture, Life and Physical Sciences Advisement Office. Freshmen are encouraged to enroll in courses of the Life Science First-Year Curriculum, especially BIOL 200 Introductory Biology (fall and spring semesters).
Sophomores and first-semester transfer students should enroll in ZOOL 215 Sophomore Seminar, in which they will receive an orientation to the Zoology major, declare a degree/track, and be assigned a faculty mentor in their areas of interest.
Students work with their faculty mentors to understand career options, develop their academic objectives, and carry out their senior projects.
